Performer safety on bookings, a practical guide for talent

Performer safety on bookings starts before the first message. Every buyer request is screened, no contact details are shared before a deposit, the deposit is held by the platform, and your rider and travel terms are part of the contract. You can decline anything, with no reason needed.

This guide is for stars and agencies. It explains each layer of protection on PornStarBooking and gives you a simple checklist for every booking, from the first request to the trip home.

Verification protects everyone on the booking

Every star is verified 18+ with government ID plus a live selfie check before her profile goes live. The check is done by a specialist identity verification provider. PornStarBooking stores only the result and a reference, never your ID images.

Your verified badge tells buyers that you are real and that your profile is yours. It also stops people from making fake profiles in your name. Buyers can only book through real verified profiles shown in the talent directory.

Buyers also create accounts with email and a password, confirmed with a 6 digit code. Every request comes from a known account, and accounts that break the rules are blocked.

Requests are screened before you see them

Every request is screened automatically before any star sees it. Ambiguous requests are rejected by default. That means a lot of bad requests never reach your inbox.

The platform has a zero tolerance rule. Requests for sexual services or private physical contact are rejected and the account is blocked. Bookings are professional appearances, shoots and videos, nothing else.

If something still feels wrong in a request that reached you, decline it. You never have to explain.

No contact details before the deposit

Buyers do not get your phone number, email or social handles before the deposit. All messages stay inside the booking. This protects you in three ways:

  • People cannot reach you outside the platform to pressure you.
  • Every message is on record if there is a dispute.
  • Buyers who are not serious do not get past the request stage.

Keep it that way after the deposit too. Use the booking messages for all plans. If a buyer asks you to move the talk to a private app, treat it as a warning sign.

Deposits mean the buyer is serious

A buyer must accept your offer and pay a 30 percent deposit before the booking is confirmed. The deposit is held by the platform until the booking happens. The balance is due before the booking date, on the schedule in the contract.

Funds are released to you and your agency 48 hours after the booking is completed. Talent keeps 100 percent of her rate, because the platform fee is paid by the buyer.

You choose your cancellation tier: flexible, standard or strict. Flexible returns the most of the deposit to a buyer who cancels, strict the least. The exact cutoffs and refund share show on your offer and in the contract before the buyer pays. Choose strict for bookings where you block out several days or turn down other work.

Travel terms you set yourself

Your profile shows your home city, your travel radius and your travel terms. Use them to protect your time and comfort. Common travel terms include:

Travel term Why it matters
Flights booked and paid before you travel You never front costs for a buyer
Hotel picked or approved by you You know where you sleep
Ground transport from the airport and to the venue No waiting alone for rides
A companion or assistant travels with you Someone you trust is with you
Minimum number of hotel nights Rest before and after late shows

The travel itinerary for each booking holds flights, hotel, ground transport and a call sheet. Check it before you accept the offer, and again a week before the trip. Reminders go out 7 days, 48 hours and 3 hours before a booking.

Riders are part of the deal

Your rider tells the buyer what you need to work safely and well. It sits inside the booking next to the travel plan. A safety focused rider might include:

  • a private, lockable green room
  • a named contact person who stays reachable all night
  • a dedicated security person from arrival to departure
  • a rope line or barrier for any meet and greet
  • clear photo rules for guests
  • a car waiting at a side door when you finish

Clubs and promoters who read our guide on booking a club night see the same list, so they know what to plan for.

Contracts, releases and licenses

Every booking gets a contract generated for it. A model release and a content license can be added for each booking. These set out what the buyer may film, where they may use it and for how long.

Read the content license before you accept. If a buyer wants paid ads, use in several countries or a long term, that is a wider license and you can price it that way. If you do not agree to a use, say no or send a counter-offer.

How to walk away from a bad request

You can decline anything, no reason needed. Here are signs that a request is not right for you:

  • The brief is vague about what you will do on site.
  • The buyer pushes for private time or contact.
  • The buyer asks you to move the talk off the platform.
  • The schedule changes again and again after you accept.
  • The buyer wants content rights far beyond the event.

Before the offer is accepted, just decline or let the request close. Requests without an offer close after 7 days. After a booking is confirmed, if a buyer asks for something outside the contract, you can say no. If a buyer asks for sexual services or private contact, decline it at once. Under the zero tolerance rule, that request is rejected and the account is blocked.

Every star has the right to keep each appearance professional. If you feel unsafe at an event, leave and contact your agency and the venue contact. Your safety comes before any booking.

Agencies add another layer

If you work with an agency, it can see your requests, counter-offers and calendar in one dashboard. The Agency plan includes a roster of up to 25 talent profiles, 5 team seats with roles and a commission split per booking paid out automatically. A booker can screen requests with you and handle tough conversations.

Safety checklist for every booking

  • Read the brief and the buyer's request carefully
  • Check that the content license matches what you agree to
  • Pick the right cancellation tier
  • Confirm your travel terms and rider are in the booking
  • Keep every message inside the booking
  • Share your itinerary with someone you trust
  • Know your on site contact and your security person
  • Leave if you feel unsafe
