How much does it cost to hire a pornstar for an event or shoot

Event promoter planning a talent booking budget on a laptop at a club lounge table before opening

The cost to hire a pornstar is her own rate for the booking type, plus travel if she flies in, plus any content license you need, plus a 15 percent platform fee paid by the buyer (7 percent on the Studio plan). There is no fixed price list, because each verified star sets her rate per booking type. What you can control is the shape of the booking, and that decides most of the total.

Below are the cost lines that make up a real budget, three example budgets with the math worked out, and the ways buyers keep the number down without getting a no.

The five lines in every pornstar booking budget

Every quote you get on PornStarBooking breaks down into the same five lines. Knowing them before you write a brief saves a round of back and forth.

Her rate

Each star sets a rate for each of the 11 booking types she accepts. A club appearance, a convention signing, a studio shoot and a personalized video greeting all carry different rates on one profile. The rate covers the work described in the offer, such as hosting time, set count or shoot hours. Talent keeps 100 percent of it.

Travel

If she lives in your city, travel is close to zero. If she flies in, you cover the flights, hotel nights and ground transport listed in her travel terms. For a one night club booking across the country, travel can be a large share of the total, so check her home city and travel radius first.

Content rights

If you plan to post photos or video from the booking, the content license sets where, for how long and in which countries. An organic social post is the narrow end. Paid ads, a music video release or merch with her likeness sit at the wide end and cost more.

Platform fee

The buyer pays 15 percent of the booking value at the deposit step. Venues, promoters, labels and studios on the Studio plan pay 7 percent. The fee covers verification, screening, contracts, held funds and payouts.

Extras in the rider

Security, a dressing room, hair and makeup, an assistant traveling with her or a second day are written into the rider. Some are paid by the venue directly, some are added to the offer.

Pornstar rates by booking type

Pornstar rates differ more by booking type than by name. This table shows what the rate usually covers, so you compare like with like when offers come in.

Booking type Rate usually priced per What the rate covers
Club appearance Hour on site Hosting, greeting guests, photos
Feature dance performance Set or slot A planned stage show with agreed music
Convention signing Slot or day Table time, signing, photos at the booth
Brand appearance Hour Presence at a launch or promo event
Studio shoot Hour or day Set hours on a production
Professional content production Hour or day Music videos, campaigns, branded content
Podcast or interview Hour Recording time, in studio or remote
Personalized video greeting Video One short video for one recipient
Virtual meet and greet Call A live video call of set length

Her actual numbers are on her profile next to the availability calendar. If you want to understand why two similar bookings land at different totals, our guide to pornstar appearance fees walks through travel, duration, exclusivity, notice and season one by one.

Three example budgets with the math worked out

These examples use round, made up rates to show how the lines add up. They are not quotes. Real rates come from the star in her offer.

A club night in your city

A venue in Dallas books a local star to host a Saturday night for four hours. Assume her rate for that booking is 2,500 USD and there is no travel.

Line Amount
Her rate, booking value 2,500 USD
Platform fee, 15 percent 375 USD
Deposit, 30 percent, paid at acceptance 750 USD
Total paid by the venue 2,875 USD

The venue pays 1,125 USD when it accepts the offer (deposit plus fee) and the 1,750 USD balance before the date.

A fly in feature weekend

A club in Houston books a star from Los Angeles for two feature sets. Assume a rate of 4,000 USD and travel terms of a round trip flight, two hotel nights and car service, which the venue books at about 1,200 USD.

Line Amount
Her rate, booking value 4,000 USD
Platform fee, 15 percent 600 USD
Travel booked by the venue about 1,200 USD
Total cost to the venue about 5,800 USD

On the Studio plan, the fee in this example drops from 600 USD to 280 USD. A venue that books a feature every month saves that gap on every booking.

A music video shoot day

A label books a star for a cameo in a music video, ten hours on set, with a license for YouTube and streaming for three years. Assume a rate of 3,500 USD including the license.

Line Amount
Her rate with content license 3,500 USD
Platform fee, 15 percent 525 USD
Total paid by the label 4,025 USD

If the label later wants the footage in paid ads, that is a wider license and a new line on the booking. See how pornstar music video bookings work end to end.

When you pay and where the money sits

You pay nothing to build a brief or send a request. When you accept an offer, you pay a 30 percent deposit plus the platform fee. The balance is due before the booking date, on the schedule in your contract.

All funds are held by the platform until the booking happens. They are released to the talent and her agency 48 hours after the booking is completed. If she cancels or does not show, you get the full deposit back and no balance is charged. If you cancel, her cancellation tier on the offer (flexible, standard or strict) decides how much of the deposit comes back.

Venues that sign dozens of performer and vendor agreements a year often keep them all in one contract management tool next to the booking contracts they download from us.

How to lower the cost without getting a no

  • Book local. A star whose travel radius covers your city removes the biggest add on. City pages such as Miami and Las Vegas help you see who works nearby.
  • Be exact about time. A clear arrival, set and wrap time beats "a few hours" and avoids padding in the offer.
  • License only what you will use. Organic posts cost less than paid ads.
  • Give notice. Three to six weeks ahead keeps flights cheaper and gives you more stars to choose from.
  • Avoid peak dates if you can. Holiday weekends and big expo weeks are in demand.
  • Book often? Use Studio. The 7 percent fee pays for the plan quickly for venues that book every month. Compare plans on pricing.
