Pornstar appearance fees explained, what drives the price
Pornstar appearance fees are set by each star for each booking type. The final price depends on travel, time on site, exclusivity, content rights, notice and season. On top of her rate, the buyer pays a 15 percent platform fee, and 30 percent of the booking value is due as a deposit.
This guide explains each factor in plain words. It does not list rates, because every star sets her own. It shows you how to shape a brief that fits your budget and gets a fast yes.
Who sets the rate
Each star sets her own rate for each of the 11 booking types she accepts. A club appearance, a convention signing, a studio shoot and a personalized video greeting all have different rates on the same profile. Her agency may help her set them.
You see her rates on her profile next to her availability calendar, home city, travel radius and travel terms. When you hire a pornstar through PornStarBooking, the rate you see is her rate. Talent keeps 100 percent of it because the platform fee is paid by the buyer.
The six things that move the price
Two bookings of the same type can end up at very different totals. These six factors explain most of the gap.
Travel
Travel is often the biggest add on. A star who lives in your city has no flights or hotel to cover. A star who flies in needs flights, a hotel and ground transport. Her travel terms on the profile tell you what she expects, such as the class of flight, the number of hotel nights and whether a companion or assistant travels with her.
Tip. Search for stars whose travel radius includes your city. City pages such as Los Angeles and Las Vegas help you see who works locally.
Duration
Time on site matters. A short meet and greet asks less of her day than a full night of hosting plus a feature set. Be exact in your brief. Write the arrival time, the set times and the end time. A clear schedule avoids surprises in the offer.
Remember the hidden time too. A late night club set often means she cannot work the next morning. A two day convention takes up travel days on both ends.
Exclusivity
Some buyers ask that the star not appear at a rival venue in the same city for a period of time. That is exclusivity. It limits her other income, so it raises the price. Ask only for the exclusivity you truly need, and keep the window and the area short and clear.
Content rights
If you plan to use photos or video from the booking in ads, on social media or in a product, you need a content license. A wider license costs more than a narrow one. Things that widen a license include:
- paid ads, not just organic posts
- use in more than one country
- a long term, such as a year or more
- use in a product you sell, such as merch or a paid video
Every booking can get a contract, a model release and a content license generated for it. Write what you need in the brief so the offer covers it.
Notice
Short notice is harder to fit into her calendar. She may need to move other work or book last minute flights. Expect a higher offer, or a counter-offer, when your date is close. Booking a few weeks ahead usually gives you more options and better travel prices.
Season
Some weeks are busy across the industry. Big holiday weekends, the end of the year and major expo weeks are in high demand. Stars may raise their rates for those dates or only accept longer bookings. If your date is flexible, say so in the brief.
How the booking type changes what you pay for
The booking type sets the shape of the work. Here is what each common type usually includes, so you know what the rate covers.
| Booking type | What the rate usually covers |
|---|---|
| Club appearance | Hosting, photos with guests, time on site |
| Feature dance performance | A planned stage set or sets |
| Convention signing | Table time, signing, photos at the booth |
| Merch signing session | Signing your products at a set time |
| Brand appearance | Presence at a launch or promo event |
| Studio shoot | A shoot day with set hours |
| Personalized video greeting | One short video for one recipient |
| Virtual meet and greet | A live video call of a set length |
Read the offer to see exactly what is included. Anything outside it, like an extra hour or a wider content license, is a change to discuss before you pay.
How the platform fee and deposit are calculated
The rate is only part of your total. The platform fee is 15 percent of the booking value and is paid by the buyer at the deposit step. The deposit is 30 percent of the booking value and is paid when you accept the offer. The balance is due before the booking date, on the schedule in the contract.
Here is an example calculation for a booking value of 3,000 USD.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Booking value | 3,000 USD |
| Platform fee, 15 percent | 450 USD |
| Deposit, 30 percent | 900 USD |
| Due at confirmation | 1,350 USD |
| Balance before the booking date | 2,100 USD |
| Total paid by the buyer | 3,450 USD |
On the Studio plan the fee is 7 percent. In the same example calculation, the fee is 210 USD instead of 450 USD. Studio fits venues, promoters, conventions, brands and studios that book every month. See pricing for the plans.
Private buyers, such as fans who order a personalized video greeting, pay the same 15 percent fee.
Where your money sits until the booking
All funds are held by the platform. The deposit stays with the platform until the booking happens. Funds are released to the talent and her agency 48 hours after the booking is completed.
If the talent cancels or does not show, you get the full deposit back and no balance is charged. If you cancel, her cancellation tier decides how much of the deposit comes back. There are three tiers: flexible, standard and strict. Flexible returns the most, strict the least. The exact cutoffs and refund share are shown on the offer and in the contract before you pay.
How to get a fair offer on your budget
- Be exact about time. A clear start and end time beats "a few hours".
- Pick stars who already work in your city or whose travel radius covers it.
- Ask only for the content rights you will use.
- Keep exclusivity short or skip it.
- Book with enough notice to keep travel costs down.
- Say if your date is flexible.
- Put a realistic budget in the brief. The star can accept, decline or counter.
A clear, professional brief gets faster answers. Every request is screened before any star sees it, and ambiguous requests are rejected by default.
See your full cost before you send anything
When you build a brief at /book/brief, you see the fee and deposit breakdown, a contract preview and the booking timeline as you type. There is no account needed to build a brief. You only create an account when you are ready to send the request.

FAQ
Why don't you list pornstar appearance fees on the site?
Each star sets her own rate per booking type, and the final price depends on travel, time, rights, notice and season. You see her rates on her profile and the full cost in your offer.
Does the talent pay the platform fee?
No. The buyer pays the 15 percent platform fee, or 7 percent on Studio. Talent keeps 100 percent of her rate.
When do I pay the balance?
Before the booking date, on the schedule written in the contract.
Can I get the deposit back if I cancel?
It depends on the cancellation tier on the offer. Flexible returns the most and strict the least. If the talent cancels, you get the full deposit back.
